In our rushing world, unfortunately, culture, as well as cinema, became “goods fast to consume”. This fact involves that the meaning of “film theatre” has wiped out from the general knowledge, and seeing a film and discussing about it has become a less important, non lasting experience.In Uránia Coffee House, on the first floor of Uránia National Film Theatre, we would like to give back the position of films and movies by giving possibilities for speaking about what have been seen. Besides, we would like to serve guests, coming from the theatres in the heart of the city, as a cultural oasis.
Uránia Coffee House is the perfect choice either if you would like to read the papers sipping quality coffee in the meantime, or search the Internet, or break out from the afternoon routine, or spend a cheerful night and talk to your friends. We provide daily papers and WiFi access at no costs.
We expect our guests with wide selection of coffee specialities, hot chocolate from original Belgian cocoa powder, nice cakes, loose tea with several flavour, cocktail, beer, spirit, non-alcoholic drinks, and quality wine.

The interior design (Moorish-Art Deco) makes our coffee house an impeccable venue for the settlement of press conferences, receptions, and every kind of programme. You do not have to bother even with catering! You may choose from the selection of our coffee house, and if it is not enough, thanks to our partners, we may fulfil the most exceptional demands.
